Setting up a professional meeting

Note: When consulting an individual’s calendar and finding out that they are ‘out of office’, one should consider travelling time before booking an appointment. This is best done by consulting with the individual telephonically to establish when they would be able to start the intended meeting.

 

 

 

 

Once a meeting request is sent, the attendee can click on any of the above options, “Accept”, “Tentative” or “Decline” and include a message or reason.

When you receive a meeting request, it is courteous to respond to it accordingly and timeously (within 24 hours of receiving it).
