Making an external call

The following standard greeting must be used when initiating a call to an external party/ customer.

‘Good day, may I please speak to ……….. (Title and Surname), (remember to confirm the customer’s name) my name is ……………….. and I am calling from EPSIDON TECHNOLOGY GROUP (Department).  Will this be a convenient time to discuss your ………….(enter reason for calling)’

 If it is not the customer use the following:

‘Could you kindly provide me with (Title and Surname) contact details?’

If it is the customer, continue with the discussion if it is a convenient time.
