  1. Kaspersky clean quote request: 
  • Reseller and end user details 

-Reseller details to determine the partner status 

-End user details are to confirm if it’s a renewal or new business. Also helps when requesting a vendor quote. 

  • Required product and quantities. 

 

2. What Operations needs to check before quoting: 

  • Double-check the partner status on KORM or the Kaspersky partner list. 
  • Double-check the end user location and if they don’t have a standing license. 
  • Should the end user not be based in South Africa, use the USD price list, and convert to ZAR if requested. 
  • Make sure you understand the request, if not ask for help. Nathan or Charles will help with a BOM. 
  • Every quote is to be done on CRM based on the end user, or reseller’s location using the appropriate company on CRM. 
  • For SA end users and resellers use the SA CRM. 
  • SA resellers and SADC and West Africa end users use MAU CRM. 
  • MAU-based resellers and End users, Use the MAU CRM and include VAT 
  • Resellers based in Kenya use the Kenya CRM and include VAT. 

 

3. Kaspersky Information needed for vendor quote request: 

  • Include the requested product, 
  • The number of users 
  • The end user details on the request mail. 
  • Should there be special instructions from the partner, include them as well. 
  • As soon as the vendor quote is received, quote using the end user price and only deduct the partner discount from the end user price. 

 

4. Placing a clean order for perpetual licenses: 

Order Pack must include the following: 

  • The order form is in Excel format only.
  • The quote was shared with the partner. 
  • The purchase order. 
  • Vendor quote ( If applicable) 
  • Payment proof for COD customers. 
  • All extra instructions must be clearly stated on the body of the order pack mail. 
  • On the order mail to purchasing- Include the SO number, the SKU, FD cost and partner name on the body of the mail. 
  • On the subject line, Include the FD Accpac company(SA, MAU or KEN), your SO number then off hold or on hold 
  • Send to order release first, once released, change Subject to include off hold then send to VL with the order released mail attached. 

 

5. Placing a clean order for ESD licenses: 

  • Include the partner quote. 
  • The PO 
  • POP for COD customers 
  • Send the order mail to credit release with the SO number, once released send to VL, with the SKU, FD cost and reseller name on the body of the mail and the release mail attached.  

 

6. Placing a clean order for DVD boxes: 

  • After the CRM-Accpac Sync, go into the SO, amend location to PID for SA orders and for KEN orders leave as is. 
  • Check the shipping to address matches the delivery address given by the customer on their order mail. 
  • State on the body of mail any special requirements on delivery. 
  • Send for credit release and only send the printed picking slip and the access form (for collection orders) to JHB stores once released.  
  • For collection orders, Stores will inform you when the order is ready for collection then you can give the customer the warehouse address for collection.
