How to create submit a DR
Log onto partner portal Login | Dell South Africa
Sign in with below details
dell.dealreg@firstdistribution.com
Password: FirstDistribution-123
Go to quick Links and click on Deal Registration:
Click on Register Your Deal
Go to quick links and click on Register Deal
Click Continue
Always tick No unless you have authorization from Dell that it is a cross-country sale
Always choose the last account with Affinity ID
Search for the End User
If not there you will receive the below error, then click on Create a new customer.
Only complete the items in highlighted in red. Then click on Search for Customers
Then add the End user contact person’s details. Please note that the company name must match the email domain. Then click on add contact to Deal.
Complete Opportunity details:
Only the below green is to be changed and amended as per the DR form received from the salesperson.
Add any person that is not registered i.e. Presales or CSG Ops.
Once everything is completed click on Save & Add Product
Enter a keyword and click search
Tick the box once the item has been found and then click select.
Enter Unit price, Quantity (Minimum to DR is R350 000.00) and choose ProSupport Plus and ProSupport and click on Save.
Will go to the Opportunity page, click on Add Deal Access and search for the Reseller. It can be found with Name, email address or Dell Affinity ID. The salesperson should provide you with the information.
Tick the box and click Save account.
Add reseller contact if available
Then add FD contacts, always add the salesperson and the Brand Manager together with the salesperson. Always give Read/Write access.
Then click Add distributor contact.
Click on Submit for approval.
Once DR has been approved. Go back in the DR and change Partner Opportunity form Plan – 1% to Qualify – 30% then click save.
DR EXTENSIONS
1st Extension
Go to Section Registration Information, click on Request extension
Tick the box and submit.
2nd Extension (only ISG products)
Click on Cases
Create New Case
Click Continue
Always choose the last account.
Complete form:
- Change Priority to High
- Sub Type Program and process queries
- Case Reason Manual extension request
- Subject Extend Deal ID and deal ID: i.e Extend Deal ID: 23077449
Description:
Put in Opp Name: i.e Opportunity Name: Joburg Social Housing Company – BottomlineIT/JOSHCO/Notebook Please extend and advise new expiry date - Always include the salesperson, brand manager and Dell AM if available
Click Submit
