As part of our ongoing commitment to creating a supportive and sustainable working environment, we are pleased to introduce counselling services which is available to all employees. This initiative is designed to provide a safe, professional space for anyone who may be navigating stress, personal challenges, or uncertainty.

Request Counselling
To access this service, you can email us to arrange a confidential referral with the completed documentation.
How It Works
- 1. Employees begin with an initial session to assess needs and determine the number of sessions recommended.
- 2. After the initial assessment, based on the counsellor’s recommendation, employees may access up to x3 counselling sessions, if needed.
- 3. Sessions are typically weekly or fortnightly and mainly conducted online.
- 4. These are virtual sessions.
- 5. Where specialist care is required, the counsellor will provide guidance; specialist referrals may be at the employee’s own cost.
- 6. To access this service, you need to complete the attached document, and then email CounsellingSupport@Firsttech.co.za to arrange a confidential referral.
Confidentiality
This service is fully confidential. Session details are not shared with the organisation unless there is a risk concern or the employee provides consent. General wellbeing guidance may be shared with HR or managers while protecting your privacy.
Independent & Secure
The counselling service is provided by a third-party professional, ensuring independence and security. All information shared is used solely to support you.

Meet Your Counselor
This service is provided by Mindful Move, and your counsellor will be Brigitte.
Brigitte is a dedicated mediator and counsellor with a passion for helping individuals and families navigate life’s complexities.
She holds a degree in Applied Social Sciences, majoring in Psychology and Counselling.
