- Sales will send you: Reseller Purchase Order, FD Quote to the Reseller and Commvault $ Quote.
- Check the Reseller’s Credit.
- Also check that the FD quote matches the Reseller PO wrt pricing, part#’s and qty and the Commvault PDF wrt part#’s and qty.
- Check the profit margin!!! In ZAR and percentage, less than 5% is a query! As well as a very high margin! If it is a Renewal or qualifies for special pricing.
- Accpac your Purchase order and use the $ quote’s pricing for this order. You will Accpac 1 line item, it is the item that matches the description in the last row which is highlighted in yellow the end $ cost.
- In the Totals TAB on your Accpac Purchase Order, add in the Reseller’s name, End User’s name and CCID# (which you will find on the top left hand corner on the Commvault quote.)
- Add the ROE that was approved
- Save this PO to \\Filer1\orderdesk\FD ORDER DESK\COMMVAULT
- Email this PO and the Commvault Ordering Form to Commvault
- Your subject heading in your email should be as such: Customer Name / $ value
- You can then respond to the sales persons original order request and let them know that the order has been placed.
- You will receive a Renewal Certificate, which you will send along with the Accpac PO and ROE to stores for grv and invoicing.
- You will have to enter this purchase into Forward Cover into the next payment date.
- Once you receive the invoice from Commvault, you will have to email it to stores and enter the invoice # and date into Forward Cover.
