Job or function analysis focuses in one of the most effective and efficient methods of meeting all the needs of the organization

Job or function analysis identifies all the Job Specific Competencies needed for competent performance

  • Definition of  Job Competencies
  • What is Competency?   Knowledge + Skill + Attitude
  • Competence is the demonstrated ability to perform pre-stated outcomes to a give    quality or standard

The Performance standards  must include a VERB (doing word – tells us what to DO ) and a NOUN (tells us the WHAT we need to do) eg for a tea person… MAKE coffee
